Error on Intel® Trusted Execution Engine Interface in Device Manager

The Intel® Trusted Execution Engine Interface (Intel® TXEI) requires that Microsoft Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF)* is installed first. If the KMDF is not installed first, you can see errors in Device Manager (either code 37 or code 28) on the Intel TXEI.

To resolve this issue:

1. Install the Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) version 1.11 update for Windows* 7.

2. Install Intel TXEI driver from the Download Center.
